Community Leadership
= Social Change In Action

'This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognised by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature…that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.
I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live...Life is no 'brief candle' to me. It is sort of a splendid torch which I have a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it over to future generations.'
(George Bernard Shaw)

Spire runs workshops and programs designed to develop self, team and community leadership skills enabling participants to create positive social change. Spires programs are underpinned by the Social Change Model of Leadership development (SCM) which views leadership as a collaborative, values-based process that results in positive social change. For more information about the SCM click here.

Spire can run 1-hour, 2-hour, half-day, full-day workshops and full 20-hour programs which involves participants working on team community-based projects to solve problems.
